My partner and I find it near impossible to put it into words how amazing our journey with Kahani was.

From that first initial meeting we just had to have her for our special day. It’s amazing how in such a short period of time and only a few meetings how someone can piece together the most perfect ceremony. 5 stars doesn't really do it justice! Kahani was an absolute superstar and honestly the funniest, most sincere, organised and modern celebrant we have ever come across.

Our biggest non-negotiable was to have a completely tailored ceremony with only the bits that were important to us or essential to make it legit and she absolutely nailed that brief! BUT we also wanted to throw in a few extra bits of ridiculousness including having a dog adoption ceremony to formally establish ourselves as a family of 4 with our very important fur children. Not only did Kahani take all that in her stride, she researched options to make it work, weaved it in seamlessly with kindness and respect knowing how important it was to us (even if it was unusual). The whole process was so easy and her website with a secret portal was chock-full of goodness, ideas and advice to help us plan the perfect ceremony for us.

She was warmest of warm the week of the wedding when we very unexpectedly lost my uncle - she gave us the biggest of hugs, was so kind while I cried in sadness during our final run through and tweaked our ceremony in the final few days to add an acknowledgement. She was also the coolest of cucumbers on the day when my gran was running really late. She had allowed us plenty of time on the day so this wasn't too much of an issue and helped us all stay calm while we waited.

We LOVED working with her and we honestly feel like we have made a new BFFL. Kahani is the BEST celebrant ever.

Don't even know where to START with the compliments to you, Kahani, because 5/5 is simply not enough. From the moment we met you, Taylor and I both knew there was absolutely no point meeting with anyone else because you simply HAD to be the one marrying us.

Wedding ceremonies are sadly often overlooked - just a formality to get past before you actually have a good time with your guests. It was always imperative for me to have the exact opposite at our wedding: a heartfelt ceremony, entirely based on our love and our story, a ceremony that people would pay attention to, an engaging, fun, celebration of love. Not only did you give us all of that, but also you did that to an extent I never thought possible!

After a few meetings, not only you were able to capture the lovely details of our story, but you also captured us as people, and you transformed our feelings for each other into words and allowed it to be shared with our loved ones... what you do is absolute magic. You allowed our guests to be participants in our day, not just observers. You brought 55 people - many who have never met before - as one big group, and having you as MC also allowed us to keep that intimate, fun atmosphere throughout the entire day. Sooooo many of our guests came to us at the end of our wedding to tell us just how much they adored you and the ceremony you put together.

Gosh where do I start? Kahani was absolutely magical throughout this whole experience.

When we first met her all we knew we wanted was someone who made us feel comfortable and could guide us from the start to end. Kahani did just that, but so much more. It’s really hard to put into words just how much we loved having Kahani as our celebrant and how grateful we are that she was the one who hitched us… but here goes!

When we first met with Kahani, the brief we gave her was “informal, fun, energised, laughter-filled, yet tugging at the heartstrings!” and wowee did she deliver. We felt so incredibly supported not just on the day of the wedding, but in the months, nay year, leading up to it as well. Kahani’s experience, guidance, tips, and all of the resources in the secret portal, were so incredibly valuable in helping us to plan, prepare and with all the decision-making that comes along with a wedding.

A celebrant really sets the tone for the day as it’s the first interaction that most guests have, and Kahani absolutely nailed the vibe. So much so that we had guests asking us if Kahani was a good friend, as the way she told our story and interacted with guests was as if she had known us for years. She was the perfect blend of approachable, down-to-earth, humorous and sincere.

We also engaged Kahani for an MC coaching session, and would highly recommend this to any couples who have asked a friend or family member to be their MC. When we asked my now brother-in-law to be our MC, we hadn’t fully comprehended how big of a role it is, as they’re not only the host, but also the timekeeper and vendor liaison. Kahani’s careful guidance, insights and help with the MC script ensured everything ran seamlessly on the night and that the MC really engaged the crowd.

Working with Kahani was a highlight of our wedding, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up seeing her as the celebrant for many of our friends, as we had so many people asking after her.

As soon as Kahani began her part of the ceremony we were ‘awwwwing’, laughing along (as were our guests) and forgot about any nerves we previously had. After the ceremony our guests were pulling Kahani away to hire her for their wedding and all we were hearing was ‘how amazing our celebrant was’ and ‘how she created such a fun and loving vibe’. We’re so thankful for Kahani and for making our ceremony everything we had dreamed off and more.

I can't believe how comfortable Kahani made us both feel, from the first time we met her to the day of. As bubbly and outgoing as she is, she has the most calming nature and she was exactly what we needed. The whole process was so seamless, as professional as she is, she doesn't make it feel like a business meeting, it feels like old friends catching up! Don’t think, book! Kahani was an absolute superstar right from day one. For two people who had absolutely no idea what to expect when planning a wedding, she gently guided us through the whole process with ease and enthusiasm. She helped us out massively with planning out the different elements of the ceremony and our vows, and her secret portal provided some super useful tips and hints to help us along the way. Her attention to detail with the paperwork was second to none, double and triple checking all our details and forms with precision to make sure nothing was missed.

And then, the actual wedding day. My goodness, her energy was phenomenal, settling a very nervous bride and groom pre-wedding, then leading a warm and heartfelt ceremony that had us and the guests in stitches and tears in equal measure, but making sure that first and foremost, we felt comfortable throughout the whole thing. We then had Kahani MC our reception - initially we were indecisive about whether we should, or whether we should get a friend to do it, but honestly, having her MC was one of the best decisions we made for the night. She coordinated the two of us and countless vendors in the background with no fuss, and kept the flow smooth and energy high throughout the night, with numerous guests praising the way she went about it.

We cannot recommend Kahani highly enough, if we could give her 1000 stars we would! Thank you Kahani for making the start of our married life such a fun and memorable experience.

Words cannot describe how special this lady is. My (now) wife and I stumbled across Kahani on Instagram and booked in an initial Zoom meeting. We had no idea what we wanted or what to expect. What we got was someone whose charisma burst through the computer screen, immediately felt like one of our best friends who we’d known for years, and truly cared about getting to know us and our story. We filled in a detailed questionnaire about our story that Kahani expertly wove into a heartfelt speech during our ceremony that you can tell she put her heart and soul into. During our pre-wedding catch up, she was flexible and dynamic with our personal touches that we wanted to incorporate and you could just tell that she was as excited as we were. Prior to the ceremony, she gave useful tips about what to include in our vows and her exclusive online portal gave even more insight and examples. On the day she was a calming presence and once again her charm and wit helped to create the most beautiful ceremony that we could have hoped for. This girl was born to marry people and were so blessed to have found her. If you want a celebrant, don’t even think twice.
